Mexican Meltdown

What is happening south of the border? Vox tells us

Mexico has been roiled by near-constant protests in recent weeks, and all signs are that the demonstrations are continuing to gather steam.

And why? In part it is the disappearance of all those students, kidnapped apparently by a drug cartel in cahoots with local police. That is bad enough. But from what I hear, the protests are about something more broad. They are about the links between the drug cartels and government in general.

Will this lead to reform? Violence? It is a story to watch. Stay tuned!
